Thank you to everyone who came out to make our positive demonstration for single track access here in marin a huge success!! Thanks to A4B and all the support! We pulled a ton of broom and had a fun ride together. Now let's legalize some trail!!
Thank you new paradigm trail group for this positive protest. We had more 50 riders pulling broom side by side with the very rangers that ticket us for enjoying our lands. Positive change!!
Hello all, just a reminder about the start time for Strength In Numbers ride tomorrow - 8am at College of Marin, behind Woodlands market! Initial postings said 9am but it had to be moved earlier per MMWD request. New Paradigm and A4B will lead the ride in groups of 15 through town to Phoenix Lake, then up to Lake Lagunitas, where mountain bikers will serve the community and our trails by pulling broom. Starting location: ... pin Show Map 139 Kent Ave, Greenbrae, CA 94904-2522, United States https://www.facebook.com/events/952002554934365/ Thanks! See you all tomorrow -
The Strength In Numbers ride is on for this Saturday! Come join your fellow riders to demonstrate the size of our user group and our limited access! Media will be on hand, so this is an excellent opportunity to verbalize your concerns about the Marin bike ban on single track, hidden law enforcement cameras in nature, etc. Continue on to help serve the community and our trails by pulling broom at the stop point, near Lake Lagunitas. See you on Saturday - https://www.facebook.com/events/952002554934365/
Got an opinion about trail access in Wilderness? Wanna share for metrics in conjunction with a Middlebury capstone project? Then follow this link. Let's get some data on what people think. https://middlebury.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_4HGPo3KA85iLTaR
Some sad news to face, on this first day of April. https://www.singletracks.com//marin-bans-all-cycling-in-c/
This reminds me of the commentary we mountain bikers sometimes hear at land manager meetings in Marin County :-P
Users of all types share access elsewhere. Why can't folks in Marin? There are already models for sharing at China camp and Tamarancho, as well as all around us; be open-minded, embrace the change, and come up with solutions! http://www.bikemag.com/l/part-two-tradition-meets-progress/
Good night-time reading for those who care about trail access. Enjoy! http://www.bikemag.com/lines-in-the/the-vitality-of-trust/

Join your fellow mountain bikers in calling for change on Mt. Tam! There are currently 0.0 miles of legal narrow trail access for mountain bikes on the birthplace of mountain biking. This cannot stand! https://www.change.org/p/marin-municipal-watershed-district
