If you’re planning on having your needlework turned into a pillow, stocking, ornament, etc. for the holidays 2021, please note that the finishing deadline for this year will be June 1st! Yes, the beginning of summer. The finishers are still working on 2020 items and are about 6 months behind. They will not be able to guarantee a holiday delivery, even with that deadline, but it does give you priority in the queue. So let me repeat that HOLIDAY 2021 FINISHING DEADLINE - June 1, 2021.

If you were a fan of Zweigart Linen Congress Cloth (24 count) from the 1990s you are in luck. One of our suppliers found a bolt of this fabric from that era recently and is sending it to us. This is not the thinner version they milled in the 2010s, but the original version. It was a fabulous canvas to do pulled work on and the color is a soft cream. I'm having more fun with my laser (my new one came a month ago) and I decided that I need to engrave words on the wood needlecases we carry. I think they turned out really nice. The cases are either Ebony or Rosewood and I'm doing 6 different words you can have engraved on the case. Milliners, Embroidery, Tapestry, Beading, Chenille or Sharps. We just received our shipment of the new Inspirations Studios book, A Fine Tradition - The Embroidery of Margaret Light. Happy New Year 2021. A funny meme showed up in one of my laser groups, noting that we could truly now say hindsight is 2020 . I hope that with the rollout of vaccines over the next few months that 2021 will see our planet gain traction over Covid-19 and that a year from now we'll once again have parades and parties. I created a sign for the shop to commemorate our ongoing Covid-19 protocols, especially as we are in another stay-at-home phase here in CA. We are allowed to be... open at reduced capacity. We are excited to announce the Elisabetta Sforzza has just finished publishing a new embroidery book called Ricamare il mare - A Sea To Stitch. The book is 88 pages in English and Italian with 2 sea themed alphabets and adornments. It makes a great addition to her A Flower Alphabet and In A Wheat Field embroidery books.
