New Directions for Veterans 26.02.2021

This week on #StaffSunday, I’d love to introduce myself! My name is Tammy, and I’m very grateful to now be in sunny SoCal after growing up in the much colder New York winters. I’m the Marketing & Communications Specialist here at NDVets, which includes managing our social media, media and community outreach, and our volunteer program. Please reach out if you’d like to learn more about how you can help the homeless veteran community in LA!

Did you know that our FSP program is one of the few entities exclusively serving homeless veterans in LA County? Our clinicians are trained to incorporate Evidence-Based Practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and more to help veterans process their trauma after returning to civilian life.

Don't forget that COVID-19 is spread through the air from coughing, sneezing and breathing. When you wear a face mask and maintain 6 feet of distance, you protect yourself and those around you. #Staysafe #veterans #veteranshealth
