Dude arrived a few weeks ago and just started training this week. He is big and sweet 4yr old gelding. Will post more info soon as we get to know him better

We are available to show horses for the next 28 days. After that we will be available at a very limited basis until we can bring in a new rider. Last year we let our personal horses sit and we did everything to keep Fresh Start running during Covid. Unfortunately we don't have the resources to keep going. We will continue to post available horses until we take a break.

PLACED!!! Hunter is a very elegant tall gelding. He is a 6yr old 16.3 Kentucky bred guy that had a successful racing career and retired sound last year. He's been in training for a few months and he's a really nice prospect for dressage or eventing. Above average gaits and very sweet personality. He could really be a nice upper level prospect! He was vetted and xrayed not long ago with no issues but the adopter got cold feet and backed out but released the records. Not a TB, Uni is a 13yr old APHA mare. 16 hands tall. Very very sweet and sensitive. Loves to be groomed and loved on. Schooling 1st level dressage plus some lateral work and has been lightly jumped up to 3'6 and is very brave. Never silly or naughty but sensitive so does best with an experienced and kind rider. She was a pasture pet for many years and since coming to us in October she's progressed a lot in a short amount of time, she had no formal training since being start...ed as a baby. She definitely has the potential and willingness to move up the levels and has never been sick or injured but would also be happy just doing low level stuff and going on trails as well. We meet some of the nicest people! A couple weeks ago a nice man came to try horses and unfortunately he needed something a little bigger. He not only sent a tip for the rider that showed the horses for him, he also sent a box of snacks! (Thank you John!!) And today we received a huge bucket of these awesome micronutrients from a woman who got a horse from us over two years ago, this will last a few months for all the TBs! (Thank you Courtney!!)

Dental day for the horses today! Make sure to have your horses' teeth looked at regularly and never go more than a year between floats!

We are looking to add another trainer to our team for the rest of the year at least. Must have experience with both dressage and jumping! Minimum 3rd level dressage and 1.20m jump experience. Must be confident and able to ride horses of all shapes and sizes. Housing can be provided. Alternatively looking for a groom a few days a week. Willing to take on a less experienced rider as a working student.

We have 3 nice warmbloods available for feed lease or ride in exchange for helping out. Two of them are beginner safe and one has a little spunk from time to time but is a great school master. Anywhere from 1-4 days per week available.
