Class of 2020 - Senior Shout Out! Congratulations to Rebekah Mary Kehl! Rebekah is the daughter of Patrick and Kristi Kehl. She is the youngest sibling to her brother Adam and her sister Katie, who graduated last year. Rebekah has been in The National Charity League (NCL) since 7th grade. Her favorite NCL philanthropy was working at the Fallbrook Food Pantry because it gave her a chance to interact with the people she’s helping. During Rebekah’s four years at Fallbrook Union ...High School she was an active competitor on the school swim team for three years. She participated in an agriculture program where she raised three steer, three goats, and one pig. She has earned her Golden State degree. Rebekah will be attending Palomar College to pursue her education further. Rebekah would like to thank her family for their unconditional love and support. They lift her up and push her to be the best that she can be. See more

Class of 2020 - Senior Shout Out! Congratulations, Nicole Grace Dulin! Nicole is the daughter of Kirk and Rosalie Dulin. She graduated from Fallbrook Union High School and has been a proud member of the National Charity League (NCL) since her freshman year. She played on the varsity girls tennis team throughout her four years at Fallbrook High and was captain her senior year. She is the proud recipient of the Coaches Award and additionally played in CIF for single tennis. Nic...ole has also participated in several clubs on campus and served as President if her school’s California Scholarship Federation. The philanthropic organization that is closest to Nicole’s heart is the Angel Society in Fallbrook. She has made amazing memories serving with her mother, NCL friends, and the wonderful ladies that volunteer there regularly. In the Fall Nicole will attend Northern Arizona University majoring in Biomedical Science (may switch to Biochemistry) in hopes of becoming a medical researcher. She is thankful to NCL for affirming the importance of serving her community, strengthening her leadership abilities, and embracing all cultural experiences. Nicole would like to say, Thank you to my wonderful family and friends that have loved and supported me throughout my life. I love you very much! See more

Class of 2020 - Senior Shout Out! Congratulations to Megan Jean Janikowski! Megan is the daughter of Dan and Heather Janikowski and sister to older brother Dean and younger brother Jack. Megan is a graduate of Cathedral Catholic High School. Her favorite philanthropy is helping at The Angel Shop. She and her mom love to clean, organize and search for hidden gems while helping this great organization. Megan earned a letter three years in soccer, she ran cross country for two y...ears and played softball for two seasons. Her senior year soccer team was Western League Champions. Megan was team captain her senior year and her team was Open Division CIF Champions. Megan is an Options mentor at CCHS, a campus minister and a scholar athlete all four years. Megan loved working with the special needs students and deepening her faith through campus ministry. Megan is most passionate about helping others and enjoys being with her family and loves to surround herself with animals. Megan currently has dogs, cats, horses, chickens, doves, cockatiels and fish. She would have more animals if time permitted. Megan earned a soccer and academic scholarship to attend Eastern New Mexico State in Portales, Nee Mexico. She will double major in pre-med and teaching. Go Greyhounds! See more

Class of 2020, Senior Shout Out! Congratulations to Kristin Elizabeth Brown! Kristin is the daughter of Matthew and Heather Brown and the younger sister to Natalie Brown, a graduated TickTocker of the class of 2018. Kristin will be graduating from Mission Vista High School this Spring, having completed all four years of PLTW Biomedical Courses and two years of varsity golf and cross country. After high school, Kristin plans to attend college and earn her Bachelor’s degree in ...science. Her end dream is to become a dermatologist. She has been in the National Charity League (NCL) for the full six years, with her favorite philanthropy being Stand Up For Kids. One of Kristin’s favorite memories of NCL has been volunteering at the Reins Hoedown. Helping those in need make a positive impact in their community has broadened her understanding of how people can always come back together. With this all, Kristin would like to thank her family for all the love and support they’ve provided these past years. See more

Good Evening Wonderful Ladies of San Luis Rey Chapter, NCL, Allow me to present the 2020-2021 Board of Directors. We had a day full of planning, while maintaining social distancing. This year will be unique for all of us and we are looking forward to getting through this year with all of you. Thank you to Seanna Hunter, President for creating a vision that will drive this chapter forward and Kim Nash, President Elect for preparing to maintain for 2021-2022.

Class of 2020 - Senior Shout Out! Congratulations to Starr Duvall Lang! Starr is the only daughter of Nicole and Robert Lang. She is a graduate of Mission Vista High School. Her favorite National Charity League (NCL) memory is volunteering with her mom and their friends Nicole and Rosalie at the Angel Shop thrift store where they help organize and go through donations. Since freshman year of high school Starr has been studying American Sign Language (ASL) and is now completin...g ASL 4 at Palomar College putting her on track to complete the ASL interpreting program. Along with being co-president of Mission Vista High School’s ASL club, Starr is a member of both the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation chapters on her campus and is a member of her school’s Catholic’s serving the Community Club. In the time left over from these activities, Starr is working to publish her book, A Photo Anthology of Name Signs. In the future, Starr hopes to graduate from a four-year university with her bachelor’s in Linguistics and apply for a master’s program in Speech and Language Pathology so that she can work to assist others in achieving and maintaining effective and fluent communication.
