Last Saturday, Matt, Scooter & Cherie were honored to participate in the Zoom Bar Mitzvah of Michael Oshman who has been a rider at NCEFT for several years. Michael chose NCEFT as his mitzvah project which has raised nearly $12,000! Here's what Michael had to say about riding Scooter: "Of all the horses I have been paired with, Scooter is my favorite. He is exactly like me! We have similar personalities... He is a super calming horse, and he can read my thoughts and feels what I am feeling. We have a strong connection." Horses. Hope. Healing. How we have missed hosting our Special Education School Program! On the list of things we can't wait to get back, post-COVID! Until then, we will remember this girl's joy in riding tall on Sebastian.
