The 044 CNC Street Fighter Head is the ultimate in flow and velocity. Flowing over 230 CFM, it makes power most race-only heads are capable of! Larger... 90cc intake ports allow for extremely high RPM potential & power levels exceeding 240 horsepower on N/A engines. The port was designed with a smaller intake throat percentage - 89% compared to its predecessor, the Ultra Wedge head at 92%. The smaller throat of the Street Fighter increases mid-range power, but still retains extremely high RPM power. This broader power band is ideal for heavier cars. Valve size is 46mm intake and 37.5mm exhaust. Each Street Fighter head is given a 4 angle valve job - 35 degree top cut, 45 degree seat angle, 60 degree mid cut, and 75 degree lower cut for optimum flow. Each intake valve uses a 30 degree back cut to help increase flow at low and mid valve lifts. Equipped with our VW-650 Valve Springs along with SuperGrip Single Groove Valve combination and Titanium Retainers, which allows lift of up to .630" with .050 left before coil bind! Development never stops in CB Performance’s Cylinder Head Department. Soon to be released to the public, our latest creation, the 044 CNC Street Fighter! This new port design was specifically developed to compete in the Real Street Drag Racing Class that takes place at the So Cal Drag Day and Bug In events. The intake port of the Street Fighter uses a smaller throat, but has more port volume than our prior port designs - the result is huge airflow that still retains high ...port velocity. An updated CNC combustion chamber and enlarged exhaust ports are also part of this new design. Based on our updated 044 castings, the Street Fighter uses a 46mm intake x 37.5mm exhaust valve, titanium retainers and our 650 valve springs. Max intake flow is 235 cfm @ .630 lift, flowed at 25. The 2276cc engine on 91 octane pump gas has 10.5-1 compression, uses a CB #2289 camshaft, CB 1.4:1 ratio rocker arms, Dual 48Weber IDA carbs with 42mm venturi’s, and a A-1 1-3/4 diameter exhaust system. All dyno pulls were done with the fan belt and muffler installed. Best power was 229 hp at 6800 rpm and 198 ft lbs torque at 5500 rpm. What's a Cruiser Gas Pedal? Back in the 50's, Kamei of Germany produced these pedal assemblies along with other accessories for Type-1 Sedans. The pedal is 10 long, nearly 3 longer than OE, and uses a lever to shift the lower pivot point forward approximately 3 . This in-turn reduces the angle of the gas pedal and provides a more comfortable driving position - especially helpful for those long road trips. FastFab CNC machines these reproduction Cruiser Gas Pedals from 6...061 aluminum which will hold up better than the cast alloy products as well as polish brighter and stay that way longer. This pedal can be taken apart with a simple Allen Wrench for any maintenance required, without the worry of having to press any pins out. Pedal Finish is available in POLISHED or BLACK ANODIZED.
