Update 2:16pm ET: We're experiencing extremely high call volume so wait times may be longer than usual. Some members are also having intermittent issues with our mobile app and with online banking. If you can't log in to the app after several tries, you can try accessing your accounts at m.navyfederal.org.

Navy Federal team member, Narah Yowell, and other veterans like her, inspire our service and #GratitudeMission. Throughout my various career paths I have always used the tools my Air Force enlistment afforded me and their motto has continued to drive me further- Integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. I was excited to see the same type of culture formed here at Navy Federal Credit Union when I was doing my tour of the facility, then on my first ...day as an employee, we went through a Military Awareness training where it reconnected those uncertainties that I faced as a 17 year old in the military. I was brought back to when I barely knew how to write a check or who I set up as a Power of Attorney for my accounts in the event I was deployed suddenly. There were so many times that I would reach out to my institution and the Finance department on base for help with allotments and making sure everything was taken in time for processing, of which I had little understanding back then. My first week of taking calls I recall one experience with a younger Private First Class who was struggling with setting recurring debits up through Bill Pay. I was able to reassure him by taking the time and walking him through each step in order to explain the process in a way that he would understand. It was as if I could hear my younger self asking the questions that he had and the certain confused tone he had was recognizable, as well. I recalled back to a favorite quote of mine helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person. He thanked me many times during the call and it really impacted my early career here because I did put myself in his boots, back when I was worried about so many things day to day and just this one thing being simplified would have made a huge impact.
