Today, we said goodbye to our remarkable, courageous, beautiful, inside and out, kind soul with a contagious smile - Kouyr Sanan Mahseredjian - Regional Athletic Committee member. Heaven gained an Angel on Christmas Eve - which was her favorite day of the year. We all know that life will never be the same within our Region’s Athletic activities, the pain will subside, but the scar will never completely heal. Dear Gassia, Berj, Garin and Tony; may you be comforted by the outpouring of love and affection surrounding you. Our deepest sympathies to the Mahseredjian family and to Homenetmen Western Region’s extended family

This morning, the Regional Scouting Council (RSC) hosted a leadership training titled Reconnecting with our Scouting Roots: Finding Purpose and Passion in 2020... and Beyond. This workshop provided our scouting leaders with strategies to reset and refocus their scouting goals and objectives, an open space to discuss successes and challenges with virtual scouting, provided leadership with self-care techniques and the knowledge as to went to escalate situations to higher leadership. Overall, 25 scouting leaders took part in this morning’s training. Leaders from Pasadena, Santa Clara, San Francisco, La Crescenta, Burbank, Fresno and Inland Empire took park. A big thank you to K.
