Bananas and almond butter are a match made in heaven. They’re filling, nutritious, and the perfect balance between sweet and salty! HOW TO MAKE FROZEN BANANA BITES First, you’ll need to prep a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, follow these easy steps. * Slice the bananas. Peel and slice the bananas into rounds about 1/4 inch thick.... * Spread the almond butter. Place half of the banana slices on the baking sheet and spread a layer of almond butter on top. Stir chia seeds into the almond butter for added crunch and nutrients. * Create a sandwich. Place another banana slice on top to create a mini sandwich. Repeat this for the rest of the banana slices. * Freeze the bites. Place the bites in the freezer until solid about an hour. * Melt the chocolate. Heat the mixture in 20 second increments, stirring in between until its silky smooth. Add coconut oil to make it extra smooth and dip-able. * Dip the bites. Remove the frozen banana bites from the freezer. Dip each frozen banana bite into the melted chocolate so that half of each bite is coated. Then place it back on the baking sheet. * Freeze once more. Place both baking sheets back into the freezer to let the chocolate harden. * Enjoy! Once frozen, you’re ready to enjoy or store away in freezer safe containers. CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BALLS chocolate to peanut buttaaahhh ratio is just SO good In a bowl, combined 1/2 cup peanut butter, 2 T honey, 1 tbl coconut oil, 1 tsp vanilla extract, pinch of salt, 2 T coconut flour, and 1/4 cup melted chocolate ... . Freeze dough for 5 minutes, form into balls and place back in the freezer for 15 minutes. Melt 1/4 cup chocolate in a dish. Take each PB ball and dunk into chocolate, or just drizzle. Freeze for an additional 5 minutes, top with sea salt if desired.
