Hello Rancho Regional Friends and clients! We wanted to reach out about what we are doing to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. Although there have been no known reports of Covid-19 in animals they can be carriers. In order to protect our doctors, staff and you we are following a new protocol ***Pet Valet Service*** Please bring your phone and charger to your appointment. Make sure your pet is leashed/or in a carrier. Call us when you arrive from the parking lot to chec...k in. A staff member will contact your cell phone when to meet at the front door with the pet. The staff member will collect a brief history and bring your pet to be examined by one of our doctors. Please return to your car. A thorough examination from head to tail will be performed by the doctor and you will be contacted to go over any diagnostics or treatments by phone. Once approved we will contact you once more to go over medications and invoicing. We are also reducing the number of daily appointments. We will also be restricting the number of daily appointments available for wellness/non emergent issues to ensure that sick patients are prioritized. This will give us more time to clean and disinfect between clients and will also reduce client to client contact in our lobby. We have received a lot of calls recently asking for refills on medications and food. We think it is prudent for you to maintain at least 2 weeks of supply. Please know we are diligently stocking these items daily to have extra on hand but we still recommend calling ahead of time in case of any supply issue. If you have any respiratory signs such as coughing or sneezing, please reschedule non essential examinations. If both you and your pet are unwell and you are unable to arrange someone else to bring in your pet for a medically necessary appointment, please notify our staff clearly of your own status and we will attempt to make accommodations, if possible. As always, and especially at this time, we appreciate both your support and your patience as we adapt to the changes. Please call us with any questions. Attached is a link to the Center of Disease control website regarding Pets and Coronavirus. Please stay safe everyone!! https://www.cdc.gov/coronavi/2019-ncov/prepare/animals.html
