Volunteers at the Natomas Rose Garden yesterday!!

Volunteers Kristin Kazamaki and Marni Leger at work trimming hedges in the rose garden. Volunteers meet Tues and Sat 9am to maintain the garden. Come join us!

It was a beautiful day with beautiful volunteers working hard to get the garden ready for a good winter's rest. In just a few short months this garden will be bouncing back with gorgeous blooms.

It's a beautiful morning in the rose garden. The roses have slowed down but many are still with blooms. The weeds are taking advantage of the cooler weather and are sprouting up fast! Good thing the volunteers are working hard at keeping the fall weeds at bay.

Too gorgeous in the Rose Garden! It's a great place to visit with your mom.

Volunteers have been busy getting the garden in its winter best. Weeding, mulching, and pruning galore!

Volunteers were rained out today Jan 5. Next pruning days are Monday Jan 7, 1:30-4:30pm, Saturday, Jan 12, 10-1pm Sunday Jan 20, 10-1pm. Bring gloves and loppers if you have them. Rain cancels!! Thanks everyone for helping with our annual winter pruning of 500+ roses,
