Fitz has been ADOPTED! Fitz was a spunky, energetic boss dog. He would do anything to get your attention whether it be right next to you or be held constantly from you. He came to us from a home that had 20 plus dogs so it was only natural this little guy wanted all your love and attention. He finally found his human to be held, hugged, snuggled & loved. He's doing great now living in another state with his new mom & dad and 2 new doggie siblings for him to play with.

'Twas the night before Christmas, all the kennels are still. The dogs are asleep after eating their fill. The kittens are sprawled and snuggled in their beds with visions of treats and toys in their heads. Their tree is up and it is bare, let's get them some gifts to show them we care! Please call our office and specify if you would like to bless a dog or a cat or both. We will pull an ornament from the tree that is labeled with a gift. Casey & Carley were found roaming in the vineyards. They were caught by a nice man that brought them to us. They were infeasted with fleas, had scabs, malnourished and really thinning hair. With lots of love and medical care, we got them all cleaning up, neutered & spayed, vaccinated & chipped. They were adopted and are doing great. Chevy (looking at the camera) and Cruz (not looking at the camera) along with another brother Carson (not pictured & who the foster adopted) were all born in the back seat of the fosters car in the parking lot of one of our vets. Mama (not pictured & also adopted by foster) was a good mama to her 3 boys. After nursing, mama & pups got fixed, vacinated & chipped. Mama also had 4 lead pellets that were surgically removed from her. Chevy & Cruz are doing great on their new homes as well as Carson & mama. Happy adoption day for the back seat crew!

Tito meet your new brother Tito! Yup, this couple had a dog Tito (white) already, so what's one more new Tito (tan)?! Tito was brought to us from his owner who no longer wanted him. We neutered him & got him all vaccinated to find him a great home. Once this couple saw him they immediately put an application in and hoped to get him because he was a cutie & wanted to adopted a pet in need, plus his name was Tito just like their current dog. Happy adoption day for Mr. Tito!

People often ask AFC what they need around the holidays. We are so grateful for donations. While a cash donation helps pay the vet bills and keep the lights on, we also use it to buy supplies. The less supplies AFC needs to buy the more animals they can help. There are so many items we need. Here are a few pictures of items we use regularly from Costco. But AFC also needs paper towels, Dawn dishwashing soap, laundry soap, bleach, toilet paper, puppy pads, canned cat food. Due to Covid we are currently closed to the public (visits can be arranged by appointment). But if you are dropping off a donation just call when you arrive, and we will retrieve from door to minimize contact. Thank you so much.
