Hello everyone! WE are having a great time at our Convention with the National Federation of the Blind. We have participated very strong and for our first attendees to a Convention; they have LOVED IT! Already making plans for the next convention!We are now listed in the Guinness world Book of Records for breaking The Record As We had nearly 2500 people in making a mosaic "Live the Life you want" out of umbrellas. Our Escondido Chapter Members, Denise Bravell, Raquel Montoya, Barbara Betters, Dave Faiman, Keith & Gregg Phelps, Miyo Molkenine and Yours Truly will be flying out tomorrow morning to attend our 75th Anniversary for our National Federation of the Blind Convention. Attending meetings and seminars each day is just part of it. On Wednesday we will all participate in making "mosiac" that will be seen from above and recorded as we ATTEMPT to break the Guinness World Book Recor...d using colorful umbrellas and that night we will attend a 1940's ball where our attire fits the occasion. I will be sending photos and keeping all posted. We will return on July 11th with many memories and extensive knowledge on being visually impaired. Plus let's not forget our Shopping!!
