NAS Lemoore Aviator Memorial Association

Naval aviation lost a brother this week. Lieutenant Colonel Paul Clyde (PC) Hudson, USMC was a C-130 Pilot that served honorably in the Marine Corps for 20 years after graduating from the Naval Academy in 1999. After retirement, PC flew for a fire fighting company out of Oregon. Last week, he tragically lost his life flying the C-130 in Australia fighting the wildfires. He is a true American hero. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

A tribute to those who serve. Whether 20 years or 20 weeks, we all share a common bond. ENS Watson, who reported for pilot training on Veterans Day, a 2019 graduate of the Naval Academy, was shot 5 times before he made his way out of the building and gave a description of the shooter before he succumbed to his wounds. It’s about the men next to you. Prayers for the Watson and Walters families.

Prayers with the families of the recent mishap at Vance Air Force Base. One of the pilots spent some time at NAS Lemoore. God speed, Craven. "One More Roll" We toast our hearty comrades... Now fallen from the sky, And gently caught by God's own hand To be with Him on high, To dwell among the soaring clouds They knew so well before, From dawn patrol and victory roll At heavens' very door. And as we fly among them there, We're sure to hear their plea: "Take care, my friend, Watch your six, And do one more roll...just for me." See more

Last weekend, the AMA placed 5 new bricks into the memorial. Thank you to those who continue to support our effort. In addition, family and friends of LT Charles JTACz Walker were able to place a donated brick by his former squadron VFA-195. We are beginning a fundraising effort in order to perform some needed upkeep on the memorial site. Please PM us if you are interested in donating. Thank you again for your continued support!
