Water for Wildlife just received an $8,500 grant from our friends at the Mzuri Wildlife Foundation for our Hardy Pipeline project! The Mzuri Wildlife Foundatio...n has been a loyal supporter of our wildlife conservation efforts. This project is located on the Wyoming/South Dakota Border on land with 100% public access. When complete, it will have a dome top guzzler like the one in this photo and provide a year round water source for elk, mule and white tail dear, wild turkeys and many other species. Grants in Action: African Lion Conservation Mzuri Wildlife Foundation grantee, Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust (VFWT), rescues a lion from a wire snare before releasing it back into the wild. Poaching in Africa has surged during the pandemic. With the closure of tourism, many unemployed people dependent on the industry turned to wildlife for food. Government funding for anti-poaching efforts has dropped as priorities shift to healthcare and other emergency needs. ... We partner with small, local programs that make a big impact.
