Music At The Mine 04.12.2020

Greetings M @ Mine folks, It is apparent that we are in a severe world health crisis and I hope everyone is doing what needs to be done to remain healthy. I"d like to let you know what is happening w/ regards to our 2020 Music at the Mine concert series. What appears probable is that each of the summer's six concerts will be reviewed one month prior to their respectively scheduled date of performance and decided, at that time, if the show is on or has to be cancelled. All... of the bands are "on board" with the plan and each of them will play if, on their respective scheduled dates, it appears safe to do so. I am hopeful that we will have the opportunity to showcase our entire line-up but it is too early to draw any realistic conclusions. Stay well for now and I'll be back by the first of May w/ a specific "game plan" for 2020's Music at the Mine. Be kind to one another, Cheers, Chris Stockdale, Producer

I am most excited to share with everyone that our local (Camptonville), 18 year old "bluegrass prodigy" Kyle Ledson has signed on to be the "Artist at Large" for Music at the Mine's 2020 summer season. He will open for all of the shows (except Mumbo Gumbo) and "jam" w/ all the headlining bands, as well. Kyle has an incredible talent for connecting w/ other musicians and has previously played w/ all of the string bands set to perform this summer. Kyle, who has been playing ...music since he was three years old, is a really great kid and he was enthusiastically welcomed by all of bands to share the stage w/ them for their respective performances this summer. I would encourage you to check out Kyle's Facebook page and website. You'll find videos and related information that will affirm why I am so excited to have Kyle "on board" for the summer. See more

Greetings Music at the Mine Supporters! I am emerging from hibernation to share with one and all that I have put together the 2020 line-up for our summer concert series at the Kentucky Mine Amphitheater. This year’s bands will feature groups from Colorado, San Francisco, Sonoma and the Sierra foothills. It will be a string band heavy series and all of the bands will bring a distinctively unique dance inducing/jam band take on traditional bluegrass. The lone exception w...ill be the inclusion of Mumbo Gumbo who will grace our stage on July 11th and will be celebrating their 30th year of performing their joyous good time/feel good, dance till ya drop signature musical candy. In addition, I have booked our local eighteen year old singer/songwriter and bluegrass/ jamgrass prodigy, Kyle Ledson, as Music at the Mine’s Artist at Large for the duration of the summer. I cannot say enough about how excited I am to present this summer’s line-up who will steadfastly continue Music at the Mine’s reputation of bringing top-tier musicians to the incredible, acoustically dynamic Kentucky Mine Amphitheater.
