The life of a U.S. Marine Corps Military Working Dog (MWD) handler is just like that of any Marine. It’s full of training, learning how to better serve those around them and working to ensure the mission is accomplished. With a few added exceptions. Their days are spent side by side with their four legged partner, ensuring their needs mental, physical and emotional are met before their own. U.S. Marine Corps Sgt Ian Kozlik and his Military Working Dog (MWD) Patriot, currently assigned to the Military Working Dogs (MWD) Team Deployment Training Course, conduct a training obstacle course on Yuma Proving Grounds. Poolee Hernandez & Poolee Garcia had an awesome time this weekend attending the All-Female Pool Function. During the pool function they participated in events like the INTIAL STRENGTH TEST (IST) which tested their Physical Fitness level by having to perform a series of events that include Pull-Ups, Crunches & 1.5mi Run. They also participated in closed order drill. These female poolees here are the future of the Marine Corps. They are here to motivate and inspire other indi...viduals like yourself. They show that no matter the gender, size, ethnicity, or religious preference you can achieve your GOALS as long as you put your mind to it. Automotive Maintenance U.S. Marine Cpl. Daniel Saucedo, an automotive maintenance technician, with 1st Maintenance Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, goes through the procedure of maintenance trouble shooting on a high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle on Camp Pendleton Calif., Oct. 30, 2020. Preventive maintenance on these vehicles is crucial to 1st MLG always being ready, trained, and capable.

Warrior Wednesday: Congratulations to the Marine Corps’ newest Vocalist/Entertainer, Private First Class Dana Reminsky, on her graduation from Marine Corps Rec...ruit Training in Parris Island, SC. PFC Reminsky is from Boonton, New Jersey and comes to Marine Corps Bands with an impressive performance background in stage, film/television, and studio work. Once she completes her course of study at the Naval School of Music, she will be assigned to one of our 10 Marine Corps Bands throughout the world. The U.S. Marine Corps Music Program is currently soliciting applicants for 2 vocalist vacancies for next year.
