There are many physical and mental health benefits of regular exercise. The novel coronavirus pandemic is disrupting every aspect of life and exercise routines are no exception. COVID-19 closures of most sports seasons, practices and camps in our area, leave many athletes, youth, high school and college, experiencing a sense of loss and resentment. Parks, gyms, and fitness studios are making it harder to exercise. However, exercise is important to maintain health, prevent ...weight gain, reduce stress, anxiety and improve sleep. Some studies even show that regular, moderate-intensity exercise may have immune-boosting benefits. What age groups feel the psychological effects of sports cancellations most? All ages for different reasons. High school kids are impacted in a multitude of ways; they are undergoing hormonal changes and use sports as a way to help reduce stress and control anxiety and depression. Also, sports are a way to earn college scholarships so there can be increased pressure. For younger children, sports are often a way to socialize and build upon those skills. When school and other social interactions have been taken away, not having sports can cause a child to feel isolated. Next Level Dynamic Fitness and BoomBox Fitness Performance Strength is always looking to provide answers to problems. Please allow us to present to you our Winter Break Game Speed and Agility Camp. Due to COVID-19 spots being limited 5 participants per session first come first serve and MASK are MANDATORY. We will create new sessions and times if the demand is there. The Murrieta Rams once again have been afforded the opportunity to provide scholarships to play football for our organization.
