Stoneridge Orchards' new #packaging, launched at last week's Fancy Food show in #SanFrancisco is another of the Murray Brand Communications designs being submitted into Graphic Design, USA national #design competition.
Stopped by the #SonomaCreamery booth at yesterday's #FancyFoodShow and was pleased to see the product packaging designed by #MurrayBrandCommunications being prominently featured on the main display. Awesome product. Healthy and delicious.

Should be interesting to see what happens as Whole Foods dips its toe into bilingual with the opening of its store in El Paso, Texas. As posed in the article covering the opening, "will it succeed?" Mastercard launched an updated brand identity for the first time in 20 years. What's the new logo (on top) communicate versus the old logo (on right). New: lowercase font - a classic design cue used to suggest friendly, approachable and easy to use. Intersecting circles - convey a partnership that meets one's needs with MC's capabilities. Red (a color of strength and aggressiveness) and yellow (color of happy and friendly) combine to make orange - a reinforcement of the in...tersecting circles metaphor. Black letter forms - simple sophistication. Old: Uppercase and italicized M with Intercap C - the strength and speed to get you what you need promptly. Horizontal lines in intersection of circles - visual flourishes to reinforce speed for those that have no time to waste. White letter forms with black drop shadow - a multi-dimensional solution that meets a variety of user needs. New brand positioning: Mastercard is your friendly, trusted partner that's easy to use and simplifies your life in a ever-hectic world.
