This outstanding HD497 Research Team is focusing on gaining a greater understanding of healing arts and how it can be applied in communities. The mural will be delivered to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. Today children participated in painting a beautiful mural at Le Port Montessori in Carlsbad. This event was arranged by Hand of Peace, an organization we have worked with for many years. Heartbreak. Another school shooting... and another Healing Mural. The Muramid Museum has responded to all the mass school shootings in our nations history starting with Sandy Hook in 2012. At first they were just rare events that we would never forget. But now as time goes on and Gun laws remain unchanged these shootings have become a frequent part of the news. Things need to change. 18 shootings in the United States as of February 14th, 2018. Even though this statistic is ...horrific, yes we will do yet another healing mural to send to the Florida High School.
