ISP Student Spotlight Erick Claudino is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is studying Statistics here at Mt. SAC. Below are a few things he shared with us. He wanted to study in the U.S. because "I decided to leave Brazil's outdated educational and political system in order to enhance my scholastic and personal life experience. Now, I realized that it was the best decision of my life because I served as an inspiration for my young sister, who is already planning on stud...ying abroad." "What I truly admire about Mt. SAC, is the number of resources it provides to the students outside the classroom. Countless workshops, programs, and clubs that may help the student not only academically but in their personal life as well." "I plan on transferring to a California State University. I am still looking for one that I can afford but that also has Statistics, as well as a good soccer program. " "The best thing about the ISP is the ability to make any international student feel comfortable and included, regardless of where they come from. " "I am a motivated person who loves any kind of challenge, from running long distances to solving the Rubik's cube."

Last Friday our Global Pals group participated in a Paint by Pixels activity! They all worked together in creating pictures in Google Sheets to win! Our Global Pals had fun making these works of art!

During our Paint by Pixels meeting our Global Pals got to compete in recreating images by pixels! There were 3 difficulty levels and they had to work together to win. Our Global Pals had fun competing and making these works of art.
