Please join MHA for our Thanksgiving Food Drive! Mt. Helix Academy is partnering with the Bethlehem Food Pantry, a local food pantry in El Cajon which provides healthy food weekly to over 300 local families experiencing food insecurity, many for the first time due to COVID-19.

Mount Helix Academy student Daniel Hotz has been named to this year’s Broadcom MASTERS Top 300. He was 1 of 300 finalists out of over 3,000 applicants with his Science Fair project - Think Before You Drink: Testing Effective Electrolyte Solutions. Founded and produced by the Society for Science & the Public, #brcmMASTERS is the premier STEM competition for middle school students. Congratulations, Daniel!

We are so excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow, August 31st! The teachers and administration team have been working very hard to prepare and can’t wait to see everyone! Summer Camp is in full swing and session 3 is off to a great start! Physical distancing, masked up, and so happy to be back with each other again!

Special shout out congratulations to four of our Mt. Helix Academy Alumni - Nathan Goldberg, Zachary Goldberg, Ryan Singer, and Michael Ross!!! All four of them have been honored by Steele Canyon for their academic excellence, and were named to the Steele Canyon Honor Guard being in the top 12 students in their 11th grade class. What an incredible honor! Way to go, boys!!!

Meet Buttermilk the robot. His name was inspired by the waffles picture glued onto his front. Samantha says that Buttermilk is big because everyone likes their waffles big and with lots of toppings. Epic artwork, Samantha!
