I spoke with the Orange county sheriffs department and they said that I do not have to remain closed so we will be open for business tomorrow at 8:30 AM. We will be practicing safety protocols, only one client allowed in the lobby at a time, we will put our leash on your dog and you will remove all leashes, collars and harnesses and take them with you. If you get there and there is someone in the lobby please wait outside (practicing social distancing)until they leave and we have a chance to sanitize the countertop, pens, doorhandles and spray some Lysol in the air. We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

In these uncertain times, each of us is responsible to our families & communities to do our part slowing the spread of COVID-19. With that in mind, we are following Governor Newsom’s recommendation and temporarily closing Mr Pet Grooming to keep our team and guests safe. We are still offering dog training services since that is conducted out of our home and we can facilitate curbside drop-off & pick-up in compliance with all social distancing guidelines. For questions regarding training or appointments, please call 714-585-5162. From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all of you who have supported our small business! We look forward to serving you and your canine companions again as soon as possible.

Dear Pet Parents, As the owner of Mr. Pet Grooming, I would like to take a few moments to inform you that Mr. Pet Grooming is taking every step necessary to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect myself, my clients and our pets. I am taking great strides to insure that my salon is clean and disinfected. You may see me wipe down the door handle that has just been touched or I may be wearing gloves and/or a mask during check-ins and check-out. Please, don'...t be shocked by these measures because these steps are necessary to prevent exposure and spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and other communicable diseases. I stay open because my services are needed! As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to evolve I will also adjust my response to it accordingly. Until then, I will continue to follow the guidelines that have been provided and maintain a safe environment for the community. At present, there is no evidence that companion animals, such as dogs & cats, can be infected with the new Coronavirus (COVID-19). However, it is always good practice to wash your hands with soap and water after contact with pets. This will also protect you from various common bacteria, such as E.coli and Salmonella that can pass between pets and humans. Further precautions that have also been put in place include: *No public restroom use *Clients will no longer be allowed to wait in the lobby area during the grooming process. You will be notified when your pet is ready. Please pick them up promptly. *Leashes & Collars must be removed at check-in by owner and taken with you, as these things must also be disinfected. They should be soaked in very hot water with detergent. They should be scrubbed with a brush if very dirty. They should be rinsed in a vinegar solution. Leather items should be sprayed with Lysol. Glove use is recommended. Per the CDC's advice, person to person contact should be minimized. Hand sanitizer will be available on the front counter as usual. If you suspect that you've been exposed or are experiencing "flu-like" symptoms, I request that you call to reschedule your pets appointment as an additional precaution and seek medical advice as well as considering self-quarantine. I will remain open unless circumstances (or government) dictate otherwise. Thank you for understanding and we appreciate your business!! See more

1/4/2020:: REUNITED!!!! And it feels SO Good!!! Our boy is home!!!! Blitz’s 10 day journey in the Anza Valley has come to an end. My family is now comple...te again!! My heart & arms are full. And we have SO MANY reasons to be thankful. #1 our Lord & Savior!!! You have answered countless number of prayers. Seen our tears! I know you heard me beg for their return. I know you brought them back to us in YOUR time. #2 Babs Fry!!! You are an amazing human being. This journey didn’t start out with you but without your expertise it surely wouldn’t have ended in such an amazing way!! We panicked at first, as anyone would do looking for their beloved pets. It was so hard trusting the process and letting go! BUT it was the letting go that brought Blitz home!!! Our family is indebted to you!! ANYONE who is in the position we were .... Hunting... Looking... Panicking.. Please please please trust in the process and call Babs (& Mike Noon)!!! And if you want to chat with me about our experience don’t hesitate to get in contact with me via Messenger. A Way Home for Animals Babs Fry #3 and a HUGE thanks to the communities of Anza and Garner Valley!!! My family is extremely humbled by your generosity to notify us of sightings of Bella and Blitz, handing out flyers, the hundreds and hundreds of calls, texts, messenger and check ins. And a special thanks to Pam, Stephanie, Connie, Jeannie, Lisa and all the neighbors near Hamilton High School in Anza. Bella and Blitz are back together again! Snuggled up as I write this. With all our love, The Kinards! 12/31/19:: UPDATE Anza Valley We have confirmed sightings of Blitz this morning!! He was seen several times, including by my husband, in Anza Valley near Hamilton High School and in the fields between 371, Kirby, Mitchell and Hill Steet. All beginning at 7:45am through 11am. He is now hiding again. He is running very scared so PLEASE do not shout his name. If you spot him just watch what he does and call us immediately 760-443-1623. Please call. Don’t just send me a message or post a comment. We have so many notifications that it may get lost or there may be a delay in looking through them all. ** Also looking for anyone that has experience with pet traps and/or a drone that can cover the area for us. Thank you!! 12/29/19 UPDATE:: Some of you may have heard that our Bay girl Bella, the GSD, was reunited with us today!!!! but our joy was limited because now we still need to find our boy Blitz!!! Everyone please continue to share. And don’t hesitate to give anyone my number who may have seen him. 760-443-1623. We still have a reward for his return or sighting. Thank you all!!! Xo I have been dreading to make this post for some days now. To say the last few days have been tragic for our family is an understatement. On Christmas day Aaron Kinard and I decided it would be fun to take the kiddos and dogs to the snow to mess around. We drove about an hour away to Thomas Mountain, CA, which is near Idyllwild. We drove up the mountain about 2-3 miles to let the kids & dogs play. Bella decided to dart off (most likely to chase a rabbit) and Blitz followed her. Aaron did the best he could by chasing them but once they were around the bend they were out of sight and gone!! We have hiked that mountain looking for them day and night. We have been all over Anza day and night, talking to neighbors, businesses, hanging flyers and leaving blankets, leaving our clothing and food at the places they were seen. We have notified the shelters, fire rangers, CHP, literally every government association we can. We have blasted all social media outlets, including Pawboost, FB, lostmydoggie, Neighborhood app, etc. Yes, they are chipped and, yes, it is updated. We have had an outpour of amazing community support from the people in Anza and Garner Valley. On the flip side, we have also been stalked and called names for not having our pets on a leash. So, please try to refrain from any negative advice - we have literally heard it all. So much that I nearly had to call the authorities on one man. PLEASE we are asking that you share this with anyone socially and anyone who may not have social media. Feel free to print this and post anywhere! If you are traveling the 371, 74 in Anza, Hemet, anywhere towards Palm Springs - PLEASE look for our babies. It would mean the world to us to have them home. I cannot stop crying. The boys miss them. Aaron misses them..... and I'm sure they miss us!!
