COVID-19 has forced everyone to navigate uncharted waters, including boaters! For the annual celebration of National Boating Safety Week, we want to remind our fellow boaters to limit unnecessary risk to others, themselves, law enforcement, and first responders in addition to following usual safe boating practices like making sure life jackets are worn by everyone aboard your vessel. #safeboating

Let's Keep Boating Open As we all know, boating is great for clearing our minds and maintaining active lives, even during this uncertain time. Many States have issued the closure of marinas nationwide in an attempt to reduce social gathering activities. On the contrary, boating can be a safe activity which aligns with the CDC's social distancing guidelines. If you are a boater eager to get back out on the water in your state, send a message to your governor that responsible recreational boating should be an approved activity by clicking the link below. https://www.boatingunited.org/take-/protect-boating-access/
