Meals on Wheels of West Los Angeles

Since 1976, Meals on Wheels of West Los Angeles, a non-profit, volunteer community service organization has been providing nutritious meals and friendship to seniors in need. We have delivered nearly 85,000 meals in 2021 and countless smiles. Through the work of our volunteers, we help ease any loneliness or isolation our clients may feel. We serve as a critical link between the client and his/her family, loved ones, and neighbors. And on this #GivingTuesday, we are asking for your donation to sustain our work in the community. Thank you.

It has been a long 16 months for all of us. Navigating this pandemic safely meant changing our protocols to protect our most treasured assetsour clients! Now with vaccination rates rising and infection rates at all-time lows, we can safely SEE these beautiful people again. And we couldn’t be any happier. Our hearts are full.

In 2020 we delivered over 81,000 meals to our 174 wonderful clients. Along the way COVID presented new challenges for us and for them, but with your support, we made it through this most unusual year. We leave 2020 with gratitude for the volunteers, supporters, and of course our clients that lift us up. And as we enter 2021 we look forward to continuing to serve our neighbors the seniors, veterans, and those suffering from homelessness in the West Los Angeles area. Happiest of New Year's to you and yours.
