We just wanted a little time to get ready for a larger group. Feel free to invite anyone who you would like to join. I enjoyed my training session today with Steph, it felt very much like an in-person session as far as the workout itself. I felt completely comfortable in my own space. Sometimes big gyms are a distraction or even intimidating. Being at home was really cool. The time went by fast and I didn't have to work myself up for motivation today; just turned on my computer and voila! I think it'll be a great headstart to continuing my home workouts after all my sessions are finished. I feel so good! Dude, my shoulders!! I want more! I can't wait for Thursday. Thanks, Steph! It was great to train you (in a digital way) today! Thank you for giving it a go! I look forward to our next session where we tackle the glutes!

Food drive! Hi there, I hope this finds you well! As part of being on the board for Downtown Arcadia, I hear of these events as we participate in them. I thought you might be interested in this one. The Arcadia PTA moms collaborate with Foothill Unity Center on a food drive this Saturday in a Day of Giving. ... This link shares the items that they are looking for. https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/cu/319MrMW/DayofGiving All items will support people in our surrounding areas for the coming months as Foothill unity has already taken care of the Thanksgiving donations they needed. (Awesome, right!) I happen to be attending the event's opening and am happy to take items over to the event; if you have anything you want to donate, you can drop items off Move Your Mountain tomorrow Friday between 7 am and 4 pm. Curious about indoors at #moveyourmountainfitness and the recent health order?! Think you’ve heard it all? Check out our clients who are causing a bit of trouble. We want you to know that #MYMF is actively working on implementing the requirements placed on fitness facilities by the L.A. County Health Department. Here’s what to expect from us and how your on-site session will go * Follow the Self Health Checklist ... * Everyone Wear a mask you feel comfortable in(yes-we are working out in masks) * Sanitize your hands often or wash your hands(even better): upon entry and exit of the facility * Maintain social distancing * Assist in sanitizing equipment you use when possible Returning too IN-PERSON fitness training is entirely up to you. We'll continue to offer ONLINE-Personal Training for those of you who are more comfortable training at home. Have you ever had to get low’ to change the paper in the copy machine? Ever took the flight of stairs to a co-worker's office instead of calling? I wonder if you ever reached for something in a high cupboard...(tippy-toe)? ... Do you normally" have a long walk to the car, carrying a large briefcase or backpack? With safer at home in California, I too am not getting all the informal non-exercise movements I would normally daily. We need to stick together in new ways to get through this and the informal moving that you always did on the daily matters more than you might think! Most of our non-exercise-induced energy expenditure is what makes up the majority of our calories burned in the day. That's right! All of those steps, squats, reaches, pulls, pushes, shuffles, lunges, presses (I digress)... MATTER! Although I made the movements in this video look formal, adding it in routinely is part of being informal and I encourage you to have some fun with it! It's official, I'm lost without you.... in person! But maybe not... Castaway the gym for a new venue!... We are ready for you on our online platform. See you soon! P.S. I thought of the movie Castaway soon after cities around us shutdown and how the story sets the character up to fail because he is alone and without any resources, he is left to try things and fail and for a while he even gives up and one day he decides to fight and leave the island. And I thought this video would be a clever way of saying we are here. At a distance maybe. But we are. We will be here all along. For now, more so online. You are welcome to join our FB Move Your Mountain Fitness where the real work happens. Here is our latest update. Hi everyone! I'm up and at 'em. At home in my sweats, fancy ones ;-) my work for today is to practice training my sister in an online with Zoom, also set up to work with Hope and Aaron so they can see some of the stuff I'm learning from my mentors on how to take training online.... For now, check out this video to see me being trained in an online way by my friend Ollie Pearce in the UK. Its a little like dancing LOL so I do think you will like it. I also want to let you know now that I will train you with whatever objects you have around(I plan to explain this in a video or FB Live). If you have a few items like dumbbells etc. that's nice, and some of you have a small gym space at home. Thats good too. We can accommodate all of you. ps as soon as I feel more comfortable with Zoom webinar I will have a party( tea coffee etc) with you all online.

Why are turtles so slow? I don’t know. But I do know this season will be a struggle and we are in it too. So, we want to stay connected. ...
