Much has been written about the MV agusta F-4 motorcycle and it’s stunning beauty, which is actually a huge understatement. Along with the Ducati 916 it was certainly Massimo Tamburini‘s finest design achievement. When the Guggenheim Museum in New York displayed it in the Art of the Motorcycle it was given a special area of honor. When I purchased our F-4 750 about eight years ago from Wayne Carini, I was pretty intimidated with its beautiful lines and provenance , plus it... was pretty quick so I only rode it about 100 miles before we proudly displayed it in our home as art ever since . Well displaying the MV as art is about to change , with great thanks to my dear friend and MV Senna rider and owner Greg Petersen who allowed me a few hours on his fast and gorgeous Sennas in Nevada . Quite frankly, after this crappy COVID-19 year , this boy needs to put some serious miles on something beautiful and fast , and it will be happening soon on an F-4 Senna , just stay tuned . If anyone has any question about these MV’s being ridden hard , just scroll to the left ! Robb. See more

A few times last week my wife snuggled up to me and mentioned getting her something for her coming birthday starting with a J, so she expected jewelry of course ! Well when Friday arrived , I sort of came through for her , but added 4 wheels to the J !! Robb

Given the current Covid restrictions in Monterey county, our Moto Talbott Museum site has been pretty quiet these days.Well last night we had our first rain since last spring, and finally this a.m. our temp was in the high 40s, and time to finish clearing out our ranch moto boneyard. Our beloved 1957 Willys Jeep pick up was loaded with three old bikes, one a pretty cool 1972 CZ 250 frame and 2 old Hondas. If you happen to need a good COVID-19 project, yard art , or parts for your own project these bikes are free to the first caller. Feel free to leave a message on our Museum number 831-659-5410 and we will respond when we can. Please help save these old troopers from the salvage yard ! Robb

Congrats to five-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier for securing a ride in the Moto2 World Championship! Thanks to the Yamaha Motor Corp U.S.A. for releasing Cam from the final year of his contract to race in America so he could seize this opportunity. Congrats and thanks to MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey for his vision of having top riders from MotoAmerica move up to world championship racing in Europe.
