The Motor Transport Museum

Our museum continues to be closed to the public since March due to our nation’s pandemic. As for now we have no current plans for a reopening date to the public. We simply don’t have sufficient staffing to facilitate consistent groups of people. MEANWHILE HOWEVER we are allowing small groups the OPPORTUNITY TO SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS for visitation of our facility during the week and on Saturdays. Appointments must be reserved one week ahead and are subject to time an...d staff availability. Visitors are limited to groups no bigger than six people at a time and are subject to county requirements of face masks and social distancing. Large warehouse space 6,900 sq. ft. for rent located in the Camp Lockett area of Campo. The warehouse has been freshly painted inside and has a new roof. The floors are concrete, windows and doors are all intact. The property is fenced in and has a live-in property manager on the site. Ken Kramer from the About San Diego TV show has informed us that the museum and the mill will be included in a show scheduled to broadcast Thursday night, April 23 at 8:00 PM on KPBS-TV.

Complying to San Diego's protocol our museum (not that we feel it is non essential) will be closed until we are allowed to reopen. Also due to protocol set by the County Of San Diego, OUR APRIL 18th OPEN HOUSE EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED! PLEASE SHARE
