We need to once again postpone registration. We are thinking through the best options but right now it seems like postponing registration until June 1 is the wisest decision. We apologize for any inconvenience but as you all know things change day by day!

Are you considering volunteering in the fall? AYSO requires that all volunteers (including team managers/moms) complete their Safe Haven and CDC Concussion courses online. These courses can be found at www.aysou.org Simply login using your Moorpark AYSO login and password. Click on the online courses tab on the red bar and there you will find Safe Haven and the CDC Concussion courses. Both of these courses expire after 2 years so if you've volunteered in the past make sure ...your certifications don't lapse. We encourage you to get a head start on these today!

Since registration will be happening later than usual this year we will need coaches to volunteer as quickly as possible. Please begin now to consider coaching. Any questions you may have about what is required to coach a team please email [email protected]

Attention all volunteers for the upcoming fall season! AYSO is requiring a new course, Cardiac Arrest, for the fall season 2020. Since we all have some extra time on our hands right now, it would be ideal to take the course before things get crazy again. Please head over to the link, register, and take the course. When completed you will receive a certificate. It is important that you print this certificate or save it in your files. In case any of you are in any need...just wanted to let you know! The County of Ventura Board of Supervisors voted this past week to contribute an additional $800,000 to feed those in need throughout the County in partnership with Food Share of Ventura County! This will enable expanded hours, an additional 4,000 boxes of food per week, more pop-up locations throughout the county for both walk up and drive up needs and expanded hours. Community members in need receive boxes f...illed with staples such as peanut butter, milk, chicken or tuna, beans, pasta, rice, and canned fruits and vegetables and a bag of fresh produce. The number of community members experiencing food insecurity is at historic levels. The next emergency drive-thru distribution will take place in Moorpark tomorrow at 1 pm at 709 Science Drive. Special thanks to Food Share, the National Guard, County staff, volunteers and supporters for helping meet the needs of our community members during this difficult time! This past weekend the Area 10E All Star Tournament wrapped up. It was another fun weekend with a lot of tough competitors!

Update: Boys lost 0-2 in overtime but they will represent area 10e in the section 10 playoffs tournament in Bakersfield! Congratulations coaches Eifert and Guevara and boys! Big thanks to all the parents for supporting your boys and coaches! Our 12U All Star boys playing right now in the championship game in the area 10e All Star Tournament! Best of luck, boys! Moorpark AYSO is grateful for all of you who have volunteered to make our 2019 fall season a success. Moorpark AYSO is 100% volunteer run and we could not do it without all of you. Some of our coaches this year have filled in big gaps with several coaches coaching two teams, and we even had a couple of coaches who took on three teams! Some of our coaches have coached teams that their own children don't even play on. We also had a lot of new referees added to our rotation this year which has been a big help. Whether you were a field monitor, coach, referee, or team manager we are extremely thankful for all of you and we hope you return next year!

A big congratulations to our U11 Extra girls on their season! These girls went undefeated and finished in first place! Way to go Moorpark! Thank you coaches and parents for the time you have invested into these young ladies. We wish you all the best in playoffs!

Our Moorpark U12 Extra Girls took on Simi Valley yesterday!
