Our TG Tuesday this week goes out to the one and only @masonbell713 . Mason has done a great job as community service chair this semester. Not only has he planned numerous events, but he has kept pushing every brother to be accountable and complete their hours. Just this last week Mason coordinated our house to participate in the third annual Safe Trick or Treat here on campus. Our chapter knows this position is only a stepping stone for Mason and his leaderships capabilities and we could not be prouder. Phi Alpha. @ San Jose State University
A huge shout out to Roberto Rentería and our advisor @lennonprojo for conducting and leading a presentation surrounding the topic of masculinity. As True Gentleman we continually thrive to not only better ourselves, but to better the lives around us. Further educating the chapter through these presentations and discussions certainly helps in creating an environment in which everyone is welcomed and respected. @ San Jose State University
Today’s TG Tuesday goes out to our brother @dvo_chico . Chico has grown into his own during his time in the Cal Zeta Chapter. From Community Service Chair, RA, and now our newly elected EDA. He is a leader in and out of the fraternity. Chico has proven his abilities time and time again and he deserves nothing, but the utmost respect and admiration. Everyone one of us is proud to call Chico our brother. Phi Alpha, you’ve earned it and more. @ San Jose State University
On International Men’s Day our TG Tuesday goes out to our brothers doing their part during the month of @movember . With 11 more days left in the month here’s a quick update with some of our participating brothers. Some are exceeding more than others, but the fullness of one’s facial hair should not take away the effort our boys are putting in. The month of @movember is all about bringing awareness to prostate and testicular cancer and we are glad our brothers are doing their part. Phi Alpha. @ San Jose State University
The month of November is known for a myriad of different reasons. From abstaining from nuts, to the wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving. With that being said, it is also a month of awareness. Our brothers in the above photo (and not pictured @hurtad07 ) will be participating in Movember. A yearly effort in bringing awareness and funds to tackling prostate and testicular cancer by growing out facial hair during the month of November. In the US alone, 1 out of 9 men will be diagn...osed with prostate cancer at one point in their lives. In addition, testicular cancer is the most common cancer found in young American men today. To learn more about Movember and to donate to our team please follow the links below. And please, join our brothers on their journeys from clean shaven boys to grizzly haired men. Our TG Tuesday goes out to our brother @jclootiyay ! He is doing a fantastic job as social chair this semester and continues to show his leadership abilities in and out of the fraternity. This week Jacob will be running for Mr. Greek in Alpha Omicron Pi’s philanthropy for the Arthritis Foundation. We are thrilled to be supporting a brother that represents our chapter with dignity and even more thrilled to be supporting a great cause. Phi Alpha. @ San Jose State University
A big thank you to all of our alumni, old and new, for joining us at our annual Alumni Tailgate. We are truly honored and privileged to be able to connect with brothers who have long graduated college, but continue to represent themselves and the fraternity with the upmost respect. The steps they have taken and the achievements they have accomplished are truly the foundation for which our chapter builds upon. Phi Alpha.
A big shoutout to our brothers on going to the Inaugural Western District Emerging Leaders Academy. These brothers are truly taking advantage of the resources this esteemed fraternity has to offer. By meeting with successful and active alumni and delving deeper into the fraternity we hope to shape our chapter into the best it can possibly be. Phi Alpha.
A big thank you to our alumni for visiting us last week. It was great to see some old faces and gain some insight into life after college. We are grateful for the time they dedicated to come speak with us about their time in the fraternity and how that has shaped the person they are now. These brotherly bonds truly last forever. Thank you @gianni.anton ‘18 , @aditshrestha11 ‘19, and @russellworsnup 2000 B.C.
Our True Gentleman Tuesday goes out to our beloved brother @bobbymunnerlyn . We’re also honored to announce that Bobby will be participating in @deltazetasjsu ‘s Diamond Stud. Will you remember the 21st night of September? We hope so! Can’t wait to see everyone in their disco get ups. Doors open at 10pm!
Congrats to the newly initiated Omicron Class! You have just joined the biggest and best fraternity in the nation. Behind you is a history filled with accomplishments and great men, but ahead of you lies the stories that will be made from your actions and integrity. Today you are the future and soon you will be those that lead. Work hard, be smart, and have fun. Phi Alpha, Brothers. @ San Jose State University
Hilario doesn’t always drink (Red Bull), but when he does he abides to the strict rules and regulations set forth by Nationals and SJSU. He is the most interesting VP in the world. House Tours at 6pm! Thank you @redbull for the free drinks! @ San Jose State University
Saturday’s are for (building benches with) the boys. Phi Alpha.
