Happy Valentine! Valentine's Day is typically a tremendously busy day at Montecatini. This year, for the first time since we opened in 1989, our restaurant will be closed because we do not have indoor dining and Valentine's day falls on a Sunday. In these Pandemic times, Montecatini is only open Wednesday through Saturday for take-out and Montecatini at Dan's. Weather report predicts a beautiful Valentine Sunday for outdoor dining. If we open, our take-out will be competing... with restaurants with outdoor seating. Watch Montecatini on TV Channel 2, 10 pm Tonight Teresa was interviewed this evening by Channel 2 in front of Montecatini regarding Covid-19, face covering mandate and the restaurant business. Montecatini is temporarily all boarded up and Black Lives Matter The world is outraged by the senseless murder of George Floyd in the hands of four police officers. Although Montecatini is all boarded up to protect the safety and security of our beloved restaurant, we support the peaceful protest of Black Lives Matter, eliminating police brutality, and thriving for equal justice for every person. We hope this time is a turning point in America where local police will examine ...and improve their policies and procedures for equal justice, where local, state, and federal officials will enact programs and laws to tackle the current racial and economic divides, where every citizen will become more involved and vote in every election, and where everyone, including every George Floyds, is valued. Montecatini is facing challenges of Covid-19 and civic unrest at the same time. These days will pass and we will be joyful again.
