Hello Archers, this is taken from our newsletter. Again we are cancelling another shoot. We have cancelled the Half & Half 3D Shoot that is scheduled for Sunday, November 7, 2020. The cancelling is do to the Covid rules regarding large groups. Most of the clubs are cancelling too. Hopefully next year bring back the shoots! NFAA is hosting the Indoor National Quarantine Edition Shoot, December 3-23,2020 at various shops. The closest to us is Phoenix, AZ, Ben Avery Shooting Fa...cility, 4044W. Black Canyon Hwy, Phoenix 85086, on December 19-20. Registration begins November 2, 2020, 9:00 a.m. Contact NFAA if you are interested/all information. Thank you for your understanding with all of this.

We are sad to inform everyone that we are having to cancel the Boo's Eye shoot scheduled for Saturday Oct. 3rd 2020. The county is still not clearing us to have large groups due to Covid. We have also endured another problem, our range has been vandalized recently. They tagged our tables and white boards and broke the windows. We will be putting together a work party for clean up soon, we will announce that later.... Thank you, again our apologies and stay safe everyone.

Hello Archers, a word from our wonderful Secretary, The Harvest 3-D Shoot scheduled for September 13, 2020 has been canceled. I called the County Park and Rec. and Phelan's Park - no large groups over 10 are allowed because of the Covid rules. Some clubs are moving forward and having shoots, check with CBH or clubs themselves. Rough decision for us but better to be safe. We miss you all and we cannot wait till we are able to hold shoots again! Thank you for your underst...anding and hope you are all doing well. Congratulations to George DuBois for his hunting trip and getting an elk.

Hello Archers, we debated it for a while but came to the conclusion that we are going to cancel our State Capitol Shoot on August 8th. We are taking the health and safety of our members and friends into consideration and figured it would still be difficult to adhere to the rules set for a safe event. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We hope to see you all when we are finally able to open back up fully! We miss you! Hello Archers, this is a reminder that there will be a work party for Range Maintenance, Saturday, August 1, 2020, 7:00 a.m. Repair is needed on the range targets and ones on the practice range. Some targets will need to be completely rebuilt. The early start is so that you can miss the heat (kinda). Some of the shooting position markers need to be replaced/painted. A work party counts toward a reduction in dues. Please come out and help. Bring water, something to drink.

Hello Archers The Snake Shoot Invitational scheduled for July 12, 2020, has been canceled due to the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 crisis. We had hoped/planned to have this shoot, but this virus has gotten worse and all have to wear masks besides the social distancing. A special Thank You to Greg McLain for helping mow the Range with his tractor and to Kip Krenz, David McNealy, Bob McCord for all their work. Thanks guys!... Stay safe everyone!

Dear members and friends, due to current pandemic orders we have to cancel the June 7th Pirate Shoot. We miss you all and we hope to see you all as soon as we are able to open everything back up. Dear Mojave Archers Members and Friends, We are sad to also announce that the May 2nd-3rd Mountain High Shoot is being canceled also. If you have preregistered for this shoot, your check/money will be returned to you. Remember we also canceled the April 5th Shoot too. In regards to our friends at other ranges and their shoots, we have also gotten word that Redding and Fresno Safari have been cancelled and Oranco has also canceled their shoots through June. The Silver Dollar... Shoot, Las Vegas is also canceled. The health and safety of our friends and family is the number one priority right now so please take care, and stay home unless you absolutely have to go out. Remember to keep 6 feet away from anyone and wash your hands and frequently touched surfaces thoroughly. Thank you.

Dear Mojave Archers Members and Friends. We are sad to let you know that we are canceling the April "Shivering Indian" Shoot due to the Coronavirus. It was scheduled for April 5. We are waiting 2 weeks for a decision on the May shoot. We will put out another email when we know.... The Charity Shoot scheduled for Saturday, December 7th, has been canceled due to the muddy roads to the range from the rain and snow. The parking area (range) needs repair. It is also expected to rain (maybe snow) during the week and weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience. We look forward to seeing you in 2020 and we hope you have a joyful Christmas, December and New year!
