Thank you so much for this honor. We are proud to serve our patients, and are thrilled to receive this award.
It's that time of year again! Our office was voted Alameda Magazine's "Best Dentist" in 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2015. We would be honored to add 2016 to the list! Please cast your votes for Drs. Mitchell and Kent. Thank you!

I am pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Taylor Mitchell Kent, my daughter, to our dental team. She will join us in providing you and your family with the high quality service that our patients have appreciated over the years. Many of you will remember Dr. Kent from the four years that she spent as our office manager. During that time, she proved to be incredibly hardworking, detail-oriented, and professional. She is very excited to rejoin our team in her new capacity as... a dentist. Dr. Kent received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, graduating with high honors. She is a member of two highly prestigious honor societies, Tau Kappa Omega and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which select students distinguished by excellence in scholarship, while demonstrating exemplary traits of character. The addition of this talented young dentist will mean increased access to appointments and expanded services, including root canal treatments, oral surgery, and Invisalign. Dr. Kent is committed to volunteerism and service, both locally and abroad. She has participated in programs providing free dentistry to the homeless of San Francisco, and has also traveled to Jamaica to provide compassionate, free dental care to the vastly underserved Jamaican communities. Currently, she is committed to volunteering at a Veteran’s Memorial clinic in Grass Valley, providing care to veterans and active military patients and their families. Thank you for the loyalty and confidence that you continue to place in our practice. Because of you, we have been again awarded Best Dentist by Alameda Magazine, and because of you we will continue to strive to provide you with the best possible dental care.
I would like to apologize for any unsolicited emails that may have been sent to you in the past few days. On 5/21/15 my email account was hacked and a number of spam messages were sent out to contacts without my knowledge. Please do not open any email from me with subject "Follow Up". I hope that it goes without saying that I would never purposely bother patients or business associates with inane sales pitches and inappropriate product ads. Thank you for your understanding as... I take steps to improve my password protection! Best Regard, Dr. Mitchell and Team

In response to the recent study by Yale University linking x-ray exposure to non-cancerous brain tumors, the study refers to exposures by traditional, non-digital machines. We are happy to inform you that our cutting-edge x-ray system is 100% digital, and uses the lowest level of exposure to capture images. Our office adheres to the ADA guideline that x-rays should be administrated with the ALARA Principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) in mind. The ADA recommends bitewing x-rays every 2-3 years for adults, and every 1-2 years for children, and more frequently for patients with special concerns. Thank you for trusting us with your dental needs.
