ADOPTED! This adoption just melted our hearts. Panda was nervous of the little girl at first, but then she booped his nose and he relaxed! She held his leash and walked him around the room, asked him to sit, and gave him treats! He LOVED her and kept licking her face. We gave the family two leashes so she could help walk him to the car. Alpine is still searching for his match! This handsome Cattle Dog Mix is great with people and so happy and sweet! He loves belly rubs, squeaky toys, and giving lots of kisses. He's also very active, playful, a fast learner, and would be a great family dog for a home with older kids, though he's looking for a home as an only pet! THE POWER OF GIVING: Can you spot the kitten in the first photo? Meet Airy, named because of where she was rescued from an air conditioning vent! Clovis Animal Services (of which we are a part) received a call from a local business that this tiny girl was stuck, and they had to pull apart the wall to get her out. From there, staff took Airy into their care and today she's vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and ready to find a home. Your donations make stories like this poss...ible. Meet Meadow. Meadow is the face of our holiday fundraiser this year because of her powerful story. Meadow came to us as a stray several months ago and is still with us today searching for a home. When she first came in, she was in terrible condition with cuts and wounds all over her body, and staff also found multiple masses growing. Meadow was in need of immediate vet care, treatment, and surgery, all costs we can only afford with support from donors like you. Now Meadow is ...waiting for her family but she's having a harder time finding it, in part because of the small possibility her masses may return. Here at Miss Winkles, we do everything we can for each animal to support their health and happiness, and we believe they're all deserving of a loving new home. We will continue working to find Meadow a family, as long as it may take.
