A colleague whose book I edited told me today that a publishing company in North Carolina is publishing his book. He added that the in-house editor said that the book was so well copy edited that it didn't need much editing. I guess I'll pick up Mission: Clarity, dust it off, and start all over again.

Stop capitalizing terms that are common nouns to emphasize them. (Sheesh!)

I've finished a week of editing policy documents for my agency. What am I doing this weekend? Editing a manuscript for a colleague. Hey, at least I'm making some extra money.
