Miner Safety Training

Going into the mine for the first time can be intimidating. It is challenging mentally, physically and emotionally. The proper safety training is critical to the individual. Everyone in the mine has to know and be familiar with all the safety rules, and get training in all aspects of the mine. If you do not have previous MSHA training, you will need to take the New Miner Safety Training. It provides 24 hours of introductory training, with several New Miner topics including Emergencies and First Aid. This training prepares individuals to work at mine operations nationwide.
