Urgent foster needed!! This sweet little girl gave birth to two puppies last night!! And she’s on transport TODAY! Any fosters for the little family??

SPCA International has generously awarded the Milo Foundation with a grant to help us take additional steps to prepare our Sanctuary for the upcoming fire season. It was a tough go last year because of the August Complex Fire, so SPCA International's support will help us continue to take the steps needed to make our Sanctuary as safe as possible for all our animals in advance of what is forecasted to be another tough fire season. We want to extend our huge and heartfelt gratitude to SPCA International for their support. Thank you SPCA International!

We are so grateful for our TEAM MILO supporters and especially loved this update from one of our adopters, Lex. Lex adopted Tommy from us a couple years ago. This year, Lex's daughter Posey decided to turn her 7th birthday party into a fundraiser for Milo. Instead of asking for presents, Posey decorated a donation box and set it on a picnic table at her Mountain Lake Park birthday party for her friends and family to donate. She raised $152 to support our animals! We are so gr...ateful to Posey for her selflessness and being part of TEAM MILO! Thank you Posey! If Posey can fundraise for Milo, you can too! Milo rescued 27 animals yesterday! 24 fabulous dogs and pups from Bakersfield, care of the lovely Cecile Audinet who drove them to our door. Thanks much to volunteers Marianne Parsons, Carol Dudgeon, Kirsten Berg , Susan Main and others for being there to help unload and take photos. 24 off the van, then later in the day 3 baby puppies (4 weeks) came in from Paw Fund! Busy day! Qualified fosters wanted for the larger dogs, some real sweethearts! Smaller dogs for fosters who will foster for fostering sake, applications being taken for adoption! They will be on our site soon!
