We are deeply saddened by the passing of local filmmaker Jamie Redford and would like to extend our collective condolences to his family. California Film Institute has not only shown many of Jamie’s Films at the Mill Valley Film Festival throughout the years, but he was also a member of our community in Marin county. Many of us have known him not only as a colleague, but as a friend. He will be missed not only for his passionate work as a filmmaker, but also for his fierce ad...vocacy for the environment and equity among all people. We will miss him dearly.
