Skype is developing a new technology, for now being called Skype Translator. It will provide voice and text language translation for calls between people speaking different languages. "It is going to make sure you can communicate with anybody without language barriers," Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said Tuesday night in Los Angeles at the Code Conference, where along with the vice president in charge of Skype, Gurdeep Pall, demonstrated the new technology.

Google's Gmail team has launched a new app called "Inbox" to handle the daily avalanche of e-mails we all seem to get. See the attached article.

An online petition, signed by more than 20,000 people, called on Apple to replace 2011 MacBook Pros that have allegedly been suffering frequent system crashes and graphics failures. The problem seems to be with the computers' graphics processing unit, and requires a replacement of their logic boards.
