LOOKING FOR LOW-COST COUPLES THERAPY? We are looking for couples who would be interested in receiving therapy through a student training program at Fuller Theological Seminary in the School of Psychology. Marriage & Family students are trained in a particular modality called Restoration Therapy, which explores how couples get triggered in their pain and cope negatively through behaviors that further entrench them in a negative cycle. It also offers practical tools that help... them stop those cycles. Sessions will be conducted by Marriage & Family Therapy masters students under the direct supervision of Fuller MF Faculty. Up to 15 sessions will be provided, and each session will be 50 mins. The cost for each session will be $10 or $55, depending on which night you are available (and the cost difference is due to the different rates of the two agencies that we have partnered with). Both agencies are located in Pasadena. Sessions will be videotaped for educational purposes only and will be destroyed within 7 days. Currently, sessions are available on Monday evenings ($55) or Tuesday evenings ($10) at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm. Please let me know if you would be interested.
