Midtown Stomp 15.01.2021

You've probably seen the 1937 Harvest Moon Ball newsreel clips* but do you know who the dancers in the contest are? Bobby White did an incredible job of going through and figuring out who many of the dancers were. *If you haven't seen these before you're in for a treat. https://www.facebook.com/robertwhiteiii/videos/10224097845983208

In a world where COVID didn't exist, we'd all be headed tonight at the studio to celebrate our 16th Anniversary. We'd be dancing together to some amazing live music and having a blast. While we can't get together in person right now we can still gather virtually to celebrate and we can still have a blast. So dancers, let's do this! Let's celebrate 16 years of amazing friends and fun! P.S. For one night only we're returning the Midtown Stream to Twitch...because we like it there.

It’s Game Night! What do we do on Game Night? We play games of course. More specifically, we play Jackbox Games. Trivia Murder Party, Survive the Internet, Quiplash, Fibbage, and so many more that we can't possibly list them all. But we don’t play them alone. That wouldn’t be fun. You get to play too!

Happy New Year fellow dancers! It's Friday and that means the music is flowing over on Zoom with Scott spinning your favorite swinging tunes for a couple of hours. Who's ready to kick 2021 off the right way?

Don't spend New Year's Eve alone. Come hang out with us virtually. We'll be playing Jackbox games, laughing, and having a blast as we put 2020 into the rearview and dive headfirst into 2021. You don't have to dress up. You don't have to pay a cover charge. You just have to tune in. The fun starts at 8:00 pm and we'll go until at least 12:30 am.

Let’s do the thing where we listen to music, hang out, have fun, and dance...at a distance and probably in our homes.

It's Game Night! A night where we get together, virtually, and have a blast playing cheeky games together. It's fun, it's hilarious, and it's open to everyone!

How about some Sunday tunes to brighten up your mood? What? Your mood is already bright? Well, come brighten up someone else's mood! *Whew, we asked a lot of questions in this post didn't we? 3 questions in 4 sentences feels like it might be a little excessive. Was it excessive?
