Good morning! There are some new changes coming to Mia's Masks. First, I want to share the info on ways that you can donate to Mia's Masks. We thank you in advance for your generosity. Venmo: @miasmasks Cashapp: $miasmasks Paypal and Zelle: [email protected] ... Now here are the changes..... #1 Mia's masks will NO LONGER be free. We now have a very fair $5 minimum donation plus the cost for shipping. Mia is NOT happy because that was the main purpose of her mission, free masks! But she understands the need to do so. Along with very few but very generous donors, I have been personally funding Mia's mask giveaway passion and I just cannot afford to continue. #2 We have inventory!! Most masks are ready for immediate pickup or to be mailed. Our inventory changes often. We will post new masks as we make them. Current inventory is pictured in this post. #3 We now have DIY Mia's mask kits!!Everything you need to sew your own masks. Most of the same fabrics as the pre-made masks are available. Mia's masks kit includes: pre-cut fabrics, elastic, instructions and even includes Mia logo. #4 Masks will be mailed on Mondays and Thursdays mornings. We will go more often if needed. #5 Mia will reply to messages only a couple times a day. I will get on and help during the day. ALL MESSAGES will be acknowledged the same day. #6 Mask requests will only be accepted by messenger on Mia's mask page. #7 Mia will only work 5 hours or fill 50 ORDERS (not masks) each day. Good morning. This is my inventory and all are ready for pickup or to mail. All masks except the SPORTS are $5 each. The sports masks are $7. Please MESSAGE me for your order..Thank you so much for your support. My (finished) mask size is approx. 8.5 X 5.5 inches and 7" elastic on each side. (which is the average) Kids masks are approx 6.6 X 4.5 with 6" elastic I can make custom sizes with bigger mask area and/or longer elastic. Thank you

Im sure this is why there is a delay in delivery. From a postal worker.. INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW: The postal service is working very hard to get your letters and packages to the recipients. Many are on mandatory seven days, we are working overtime, sometimes up to four hours a day to service you. All we ask in return is instead of complaining about your stuff getting there later than you anticipated that you keep us in your positive thoughts and prayers. The large pr...ocessing plants have been shut down for sanitizing and the smaller processing plants are not equipped to handle the mass volume we are receiving. Two thirds of our employees are out sick either by having come in contact with someone with Covid19 or showing signs of the virus themselves. We are not any happier about it than you are, however, we have a job to do and are not robots and are breaking down due to pure exhaustion. We have families that we do not see or interact with because we are tired. Please keep this in mind when you are on the phone, speaking to the carrier or coming into the office to complain that we are doing the best we can and your patience is needed. We are all in this pandemic together so please keep that in mind and be kind to those employees you come in contact with. Please share this and get the word out that your stuff will be delivered as soon as humanly possible so instead of complaining, thank your postal worker for still working to service you and pray for their health. For every three mask Mia made for you, one was made for the Riverside and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Departments. With lots of help, donations of money and materials from of our amazing village, so far, Mia has been able to donate 100 masks to EACH department to help protect the deputies with plans of more!!!

We are low or are out of TEAM fabric. I spent HOURS waiting to get into several locations to find fabric to no avail.. She will continue to work hard to fill orders until our stock is depleted. She spends about 90% of her time on her sewing machine. We will TRY to reachout to EVEYONE to confirm their order status and/or cancellation. Mia will continue to work on masks until the 20th and then she will take a small break to get acclimated to her new distant learning school schedule.

We originally thought it would just be a spring break project......BUT we are in it for the long haul.
