All throughout the week NAHREP Temecula Valley has been providing Murrieta Fire and Rescue with lunches. Today NAHREP Temecula Is making their last stop at Station 2. MFR is very appreciative and thankful for the continued support especially during these tough times.

The crew from OES 8634 is on their way home from the #Creekfire. This crew has been gone for 17 days and will return back to the city sometime this evening! Safe travels!

The crew from OES 8634 is currently working at the #Creekfire in the Yosemite National Forest. This is the largest single fire in the history of California. The unit will return home some time next week after more than 8 weeks of deployment.

The crew from Brush 5 as a part of OES 6828C strike team has been released from the #Dolanfire and is now en route to the #Creekfire in Yosemite. The OES has been deployed for almost 60 straight days. Good luck guys snd be safe!

On October 1st, 2020, Matt, one of our officers with MPD, was involved in a major injury traffic collision in Murrieta while in a high speed pursuit of a fleeing suspect. His road to recovery will likely be a long journey, requiring several surgeries and physical therapy. Matt is a dedicated public servant and has given so much to the communities he's worked for that we'd like to give back in this time of need to support his recovery and the needs of his family in the meantime.
