This Friday our chapter will be hosting Eva Gabriela Baylon. Gabriela is a currently a graduate student at Stanford where she studies Mechanical Engineering. Her research has a biological approach in which she studies the mechanical stresses the joints of the body encounters, in particular the knees. As this being our first Engineering speaker, this is a unique opportunity for every member of the CCSF community.

We will be extending our conversation from last month on time management and how to manage one's mental space. In addition, Mr. Anthony Williams will be giving a workshop on energy maximization strategies. I want to strongly encourage all MESA scholars to attend our monthly meetings. It is during these settings where your presence and knowledge is invaluable to the discussion and the implementation of strategies necessary to be successful as a STEM major.
