ATTENTION CCW APPLICANTS AND CCW HOLDERS Sheriff Warnke continues to strongly support issuing Carry Concealed Weapons (CCW) license to eligible Merced County residents. The Sheriff's Office is going through a brief transition on the CCW process. Soon you will be able to self-register, make appointments, and modify your existing CCW license online. The new process will be efficient and will reduce the number of times you will be required to appear in person. Sheriff Warnke has put all future CCW appointments on pause until this new platform can be implemented. Work is underway right now to make the transition as quickly and smoothly as possible. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated on this process.
