Wishing a very happy birthday to junior setter Gabby Boado! Gabby transfered to Menlo from Ventura College where she twice earned All-Western State Conference Honors! Happy Birthday Gabby!

On this day in 2009, Menlo downed Bethany University 58-49. In that game, point guard Kelci Fushikoshi drained her 303rd career free throw to become the program's all-time leader. She still holds that record today!

Wishing a very happy birthday to senior 157 pound wrestler Alejandro Garcia! Alejandro went 24-11 on the mats this year and finished third in his bracket at the CCC Championship, earning him a spot at Nationals! Happy Birthday Alejandro!

Menlo Softball has been actively working to sign recruits for the 2022 season, starting with catcher Maya Bivens-Sommerville out of Visalia! An All-State performer at Reed High School in Sparks, Nevada, Trey led his team in points, assists, steals, field goals made, three pointers made, free throws made, and free throw percentage a season ago! On this day in 2018, the Oaks downed top ranked Vanguard 76-66 for their best win in program history! Madison Michelis had a standout performance with 17 points, 16 rebounds and four steals!

Today's Menlo College Athletics Alumni Feature is midfielder Ryan Onizuka '16 of Menlo Men's Soccer! The program's all-time leader in assists, Ryan now is assisting the world by working as a COVID Lab Operations Material Handler for Color. Last but certainly not least, on this day in 2017, charged by Maggie McDonald's 16 kills, the Oaks downed The Master's University for their first GSAC Playoff win in program history!

On this day in 2016, the Oaks downed Vanguard 3-2 in OT for their first ever GSAC Tournament win! In this match, Ryan Onizuka became the program's all-time leader in assists as the Oaks tallied their program record 14th win!

Wishing a very happy birthday to senior defender Brett Fitzpatrick! Formerly a striker, Brett transitioned to defense this past year and played a major role in the Oaks GSAC title run! Happy birthday Brett!

Also on this day in 2012, Menlo Men's Soccer would notch their first ever postseason victory, downing Marymount California University 1-0 in the CalPac Semifinals! Christian Abrego was responsible for the lone goal of the match, netting it in the 51st minute off a helper from Alex Vukic!

Wishing a very happy birthday to Sophomore sprinter Wakilli Bennett! Wakilli had an incredible debut season with the Oaks including two podiums in the 100m and 200m at the Sunbird Invitational in Fresno! Happy birthday Wakilli!

On this day in 2012, Menlo Women's Volleyball swept Embry-Riddle in the CalPac Finals to secure their sixth CalPac Title in program history! Nicole Yap led the way for the Oaks with 12 kills and 14 digs!

On this day in 2011, the Oaks completed a perfect 10-0 CalPac season with a 2-0 victory over Holy Names. Goalkeeper and CalPac Player of the Year Alex Palomarez helped lead the Oaks to their 8th shutout victory of the season!

On this day in 2005, Menlo Women's Volleyball downed Dominican 3-0 to earn the title of back-to-back CalPac Champions!

Adam transferred to Menlo after a brilliant season at Cosumnes River College, where he led the Hawks in scoring, field goals made, and three pointers made! We'd also like to wish a very happy birthday to freshman PJ Fuentes! PJ came to Menlo from Piedmont Hills High School in San Jose where he was a huge threat at the plate while splitting time defensively between catching and playing the outfield! Happy Birthday PJ!

From hero on the court to real life hero, Vanessa is now a registered critical care nurse, working in the intensive care unit at Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee! Wishing a very happy birthday to junior cross country/track and field runner Gina Lazcano! Gina comes to Menlo by way of Fresno City College, and will look to run for the cross country team, and run the steeple chase for the track team while here at Menlo! Happy Birthday Gina!
