Big news, it is our anniversary! Today 74 years ago Mel Weiss opened what was the first carhop restaurant in San Francisco on 140 South Van Ness! You might remember this location from George Lucas 1973 classic American Graffiti! A huge hit from the start and 74 years later we are still here trucking. With 3 generations of Weiss’ to run the restaurants, we are a tried and true family run restaurant! The restaurant industry is going through some through times right now but we love our community and we know we will make it though this with all of your support!
