PLEASE START FOLLOWING Sequoia Softball GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR SPRING REGISTRATION FEES IF YOU QUALIFY. For those who want to take advantage of the T-MOBILE LITTLE LEAGUE CALL UP GRANT we have enabled that feature for grant applications. We encourage everyone who might be eligible to apply. If you're approved then we'll get your registration handled when we go live, In the coming weeks. If you're denied then you can just participate in the normal registration process. It wo...n't hurt to try! The eligibility documents that will enable you to qualify: Free/Reduced Lunch (FRL) verification letter SNAP Enrollment document with dates WIC Enrollment document with dates Foster child paperwork Enrollment in Medicaid or state health plan with effective dates. KEY INFORMATION in completing application: It's all your personal information until step 6 - select "Kaweah Softball" (this was in the system before the merger and is locked in for this grant cycle). Visalia Youth Softball and Kaweah Softball have merged our two youth softball programs. The new league will operate under the name of Sequoia Softball. This merger will allow Sequoia Softball to be stronger and cost effective by combining the human and capital resources of the two existing leagues and eliminating redundancies. Sequoia Softball will be a powerful synergetic program combing the enthusiasm our volunteers and parents have towards softball. This is a huge positi...ve move for the cause of softball and youth sports in Visalia. The merger was carefully crafted with the purpose of developing every player to their highest potential while ensuring that the girls enjoy playing the game of softball. More information and details will be emailed out to the families of both leagues in the coming weeks and posted on the Sequoia Softball Facebook (@SequoiaSoftball) and webpage (www.SequoiaSoftball.com). We are currently working with the City of Visalia in anticipation of the 2021 season and will pushing out registration details shortly.
