Recently I started recollecting days of my youth, more like college years. It was amazing how this song reminded me of today, because this COVID thing often separates us from those we love. Kinda' ticked me off that I can't just roll down the highway to catch up with grandkids in the west or up through the Montana big sky to catch a niece or two...well maybe way more than that up there. It's cold up there ya' know. In the meanwhile this reckless government we have can talk crap about spending $1.9 trillion dollars with less money going toward COVID and lots of money going to irrelevant things. Probably time to wake up and make some demands. Imagine if the whole $1.9 trillion was actually going to solve the COVID crisis, maybe loved ones would not feel SO FAR AWAY. Carole, your words resonate 50 years later...love you for that!
